1. Why sizing?
In the weaving process, the warp yarn is subjected to considerable mechanical tension. In order to strengthen warp yarn to prevent breakage, sizing process is usually used. When weaving cotton or cotton blended fabrics, the size often contains natural or modified starch, sometimes mixed with other polymers, such as polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), polyacrylic acid base (PAA) or carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC). A small amount of fat or oil may also be added to the size to lubricate the warp surface.
2. Desizing
Can the fabric absorb water or finishing agent (bleach, dye, anti-crepe agent, etc.) well in the subsequent processing after sizing. Only by removing all the size on the fabric, that is, fully desizing, can the uniform and lasting finishing effect be obtained.
3. Oxidizer desizing and enzyme desizing
4. Our F-820 enzymatic desizing advantages
Enzymatic desizing provides a method superior to traditional chemical desizing:
·No damage to fiber
·Applicable in wide temperature range
·Reduce chemical consumption
·Environmentally friendly solutions
·It can be applied to various starches
5. Desizing enzyme desizing process
The desizing process can be divided into three stages:
Impregnation: the enzyme (desizing solution) is absorbed by the fabric
Cultivation: amylase degrades the starch size on the fabric
Water washing: remove easily degradable size from the fabric
